Standing out from the Crowd

Had the Trident Iceni been cobbled together from fifty existing cars, inexpensive parts would have been freely available off the shelf, the job would have taken little time and cost next to nothing. But... would it have had appeal?
Like many other components, the multitude of curves which make up the stunning appearance of the Iceni are unique and, as such, each part must be painstakingly handcrafted or carefully design-engineered. It is this, which sets the Iceni apart and gives it, almost magnetic, allure.
Hi-Tech

Using Catia, the ultimate in CAD programmes, all technical data is now securely stored on magnetic media and there's no doubt Brytech Engineering have done a superb job in completing their design engineering task helping Trident further enhance the unique style of the Iceni.
Under the direction of Brytech MD Alan Bryan, and with Eric Broadley hastening from one Catia workstation to the next, the Brytech team of six specialist design engineers have played a significant role in bringing the Iceni to a production-ready stage.
Fully detailed engineering drawings have now been transmitted to carefully selected specialist component manufacturers. Where necessary, this has included solid models, CNC-milled from Catia files.
Trident's own computerised parts numbering system has been established and is now firmly in place.
Enhancements

Whereas the stunning external design of the Iceni remains unchanged, major improvements have been carried out in a number of significant areas...
- Wind noise eradicated by flush, single piece [left & right], roof panels now fitted or removed, without tools, in seconds
- Scuttle-panel incorporated into the bonnet
- Door restructured with quarter-light replaced by single, "active glass" side windows
- Heated and electrically adjustable door mounted external mirrors afford greater rear-view visibility
- Headlamp assembly profile unchanged but light arrangement greatly improved
- Boot lid opening increased
